Cruise Day 1

Nita has summed up the day very well.   I will add that the boarding was very organized.  When I first saw the dense snack like line at customs, I thought it would take forever, but instead the line kept moving so quickly I was at the final counter within 30 min.

I really like our room.  The first cruise I was on, I had a room with bunk beds and a small portal window.  This room is huge in comparison.  I love the veranda.

Eating dinner with 4strangers is not my cup of tea.  The folks were very nice and conversation went well until the food came and then it seemed no one had anything in particular to share or ask, including me.  I guess I will need to try harder tomorrow.

Both couples were experienced cruise goers.   One had been on 5 others and the other couple rattled off so many places I could not count them.  There are a lot people to deal with.  The crew is everywhere, greeting us and asking if we need anything.   Mostly, despite having 3000 people on the ship, it didn't feel crowed until we got to the Oceanview grill, then WOW.
